Welcome to VanCleef.org

VanCleef.org is a web home for the California branch of the Van Cleef family.

The name is derived from the Dutch name "van Kleef", which means from the town of Kleef, which is southeast of Holland, in Germany.

In Dutch it's pronounced "fun clafe" (well, almost) and has a small "v" for "van", but we are in the USA and pronounce it "Van" (rymes with fan) "Cleef" (rymes with leaf), with a capital "V".
